My First General Conference

Conference!! What can I say about this 187th annual General Conference besides absolutely AMAZING!!! I've only been a member of the church now for 5 years and I have NEVER cried during a conference session. But this year was just amazing overall amazing as always but this year I truly believed they were speaking to me.

My personal favorite session was the second session. I was in tears from start to finish!!! It just felt as if every single speaker was talking to me! Like they knew exactly what I was struggling with and what I needed to do. I also had the chance to finally attend my first ever general conference session. I attend the Sunday evening session and it too was amazing.

I was sad the prophet couldn't speak during my session like he usually does and to hear he wasn't doing so well also hurt. But I'm so grateful for our apostles and leaders who come together to teach us more about the church and the Lords gospel and along the way teaching us more about ourselves. Conference always shows me ways I can become better and I'm grateful that my Heavenly Father is so forgiving and accepting. As said in conference there is room in this choir for all who wish to be there. Let's keep singing till we can offer those carols to our king! 💛💛
