The Lemon Maxi

Hey when life gives you lemons, you take them and make a lovely maxi dress out of them! 🍋🍋🍋 Guys! The weather here in Utah has been phenomenal! It’s so nice out. The other day was a little windy but that’s okay. I’m really starting to feel spring in the air. So I decided to wear my new favorite dress! I’m never really a maxi girl. I hate maxi skirts so much, especially the cotton material. But when I saw this dress in Target I knew I had to buy it! Like WOW! If this dress doesn’t scream a “glass of lemonade please!” what does?! 😂 I received so many compliments! From guys, girls, strangers, people old and young! EVERYONE NO JOKE! I bought this dress in 4X. I’m usually a 2X/3X but those sizes were too short on me so I went up in size so that I could add length. I’m 5’10 for reference. The dress has adjustable straps and a little tie for your waist which really adds shape to it. It also has a M split, which I usually hate but love on this dress. I paired this dress with a jean jacket because I wore it to church and I wanted to keep it cute and casual but modest as well. For shoes I wore a pair of white sandals that I got a year ago. I don’t think they’re still available but I have seen some very similar ones lately so I will link those that I find. I seriously recommend this dress for every girl out there looking for a lovely Spring/Summer dress that won’t break the bank! I’ve honestly had Lemon by Nerd and Rihanna stuck in my head since Sunday, because of this dress. 🤣🍋
