Adventure Experience 2017

I go to Brigham Young University in Provo Utah. And this upcoming year I will be an Executive Director (ED) for BYU's Student Service Association (BYUSA) Y-Activities. I love BYUSA and everything it stands for. I was a part of it as a Program Director/Volunteer last year and when I was given the opportunity to apply I was so excited. Very nervous, and very scared, but very excited for this amazing opportunity.

As part of our training for the year all of the areas (there are 7 different areas in BYUSA) the Presidency, ED's, Coordinators, and Directors went to Adventure Experience. This years location was in Garden City, Utah. We stayed in a really nice house. It was a very colorful house. Every room had a theme! No joke! The house was in the Bear Lake area for anyone that's familiar with it. We even traveled to Paris and Soda Springs, Idaho to see some really amazing historical sites.

Adventure Experience was truly amazing. I have made some amazing new friends. And I'm so happy that I have because all of my old friends are leaving for church missions. I learned so much about myself personally, spiritually and as a leader. I learned so much about the others that were there as well. I am beyond blessed to have been given this chance to be a leader at BYU and I can't wait to work along side all the amazing people I have met and to start my team and kick this year in the butt!!! #teamDEButant (still working on a team name)
