3rd of July
You're probably very confused by the title. But basically because my roommate and the twins had to work on the 4th of July we did all of our celebrations and festivities the day before.
The day didn't start till 5pm really because that's when we woke up (don't judge we're in college). We went to FHE because our ward was having a BBQ and doing some swimming. We didn't swim but we ate burgers and had fun with some of our ward members.
Seriously the house was beautiful and the cutest things ever. It seemed like something right out of Pinterest!!!
After the dinner we went to UVU's baseball park and waited for the game to end so we could watch the firework show. It was my roommate, myself and the twins. The show was surprisingly very quick, but we live in the valley and with a short hike we could easily watch a bunch of firework shows all at once. So we went to Y Mountain and went to the amphitheater area near the base of the hike. We watched some fireworks and lit some sparklers because you know we needed pictures! Although the random girl who took them didn't do the best job, and we suck at sparkler writing we got some fun pictures. (PHOTOS)
That was basically our night. The next day I went to a local park around 10:30pm and watched some fireworks with my friend Mimi that I met at Adventure Experience, and we watched some fireworks that families were doing there. It was pretty great and a little scary because we're the sparks we're flying.
Overall it's was a great July 3rd and 4th. I hope your weekend was great! God Bless America! #Merica!
