PINK BRAND CERTIFICATION

Columbus, Ohio! Where do I even begin!!

For those of you that don't know I am a VS PINK Campus Rep for BYU. As a part of starting this journey PINK flew us out to Columbus, Ohio for some brand certification. It was an all expenses paid trip. Technically the trip was for work but really it was so much FUN!!!!

I got to meet so many girls and create amazing new friendships. We were literally showered in gifts! I made a haul video and you can watch HERE!!

We had a photo shoot after checking into the hotel it was so fun girls were lined up EVERYWHERE!! We took the photos for the website and I'm not too sure on when we will be receiving them. We went shopping at their main free standing store in Easton, but upon arrival we were approached with a surprise little festival!! It was the cutest thing ever! Lemonade, Ferris wheel, bounce house, hair dressers, makeup artist and much more. VS Angel Zuri was even there! I am obsessed with her and was hoping to meet her. I also found out she went to Dreyfoos school of the arts which is about 30 mins or so from the high school I went to in Palm Beach.

I learned so much from certification. Much more than I had expected. We participated in several focus groups, had some presentations, and were able to meet people who work for the company in a round of "Speed Dating." The speed dating game really opened my eyes to possible opportunities. I've been trying to recreate my 5 year plan and it really helped put the icing on the cake. We met with so many different departments and I truly can see myself working for PINK as an intern and as a corporate employee in their home office after graduation. Now that I know this is an opportunity available to me I'm going to reach for it. One of my biggest goals this year was that if the opportunity arises to go for it! It's better to say I tried instead of what if! I'll beat myself up saying "why didn't I try, what if it could've happened." But if I can say I tried, I really tried and there is always the next year. I didn't get the campus rep position the first time I applied (I know 😳😅). But I tried again and I GOT IT! 😆😆 So I'll do the same thing after I graduate college. If pink has an opening I'll apply! My grandma is not a fan of the possibility of me living in Ohio (LOL) so I'll also apply to their NY positions which is where my grandma and other relatives live.

I've been a pink rep since May and I already love it! I can't wait for the semester to start so that Becca (the other BYU rep) and I can jump into planning stuff and creating a team.
